Acclaimed wildlife filmmaker Dhruv Thimayya arrives at Kabini to film its famed black panther – the majestic and mysterious Karia. He checks into a quaint homestay, Hog’s Hole, where he meets the intriguing Mira Ponappa, who is at home in the wild, wielding a country dagger and rowing coracles.
 
As Dhruv unravels the dynamics between Karia and Kapila, a green-eyed leopardess who has captured the panther’s attention, he finds himself drawn to the other beauty this side of the forest – Mira. The woman, however, seems immersed in modernising the homestay and countering her gun-toting granny’s disapproval.
